ABOUT PASSION & EXPERIENCE

A military veteran and engineer, I fell in love with the proposal process while working on an enterprise-level IT architecture and engineering contract proposal with the leading Defense systems integrator.  I became one of the key personnel in the bid and was an important contributor to the content and strategic messaging of the team. From that beginning I worked to build the portfolio of our small business, helping large and small teams come together in contract pursuits and win new work.  I adapted to diferent company proposal methods, different company cultures, and new challenges when entering markets.  Each time, helping my employer grow their business by expanding the footprint and relationships.  Whether prime or subcontractor, we helped teams develop and deliver new ideas, innovative approaches, and compelling offers.  10 years ago I became a business owner and worked with my partners to find and deliver key talents into government organizations through a variety of contract and proposal venues including MA IDIQ vehicles.  As a business owner, my experience and understanding grew the business behind the proposal process and achieved positive impact in proposal decisions of our prime and teaming companies.  Owning a business taught me more about business developement, filling in the rest of the offer design picture.
